Metallica confirm plans to extend record-breaking world tour – dates revealed

Heavy metal legends Metallica have announced new UK and European tour dates for 2026.

The band is currently traveling for their M72 tour and has just announced that they’re extending it into 2026, making it a four-year tour overall.

In June, Metallica is set to perform concerts in the UK and Ireland. They’ll kick off their tour with shows in Dublin, Glasgow, and Cardiff, followed by two nights at the London Stadium on the 3rd and 5th of July. Earlier this year, they graced the stage at the Download Festival in 2023.

In the month of May, they have scheduled several performances across Europe, with appearances in Athens, Bucharest, Chorzow, Frankfurt, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, and Budapest for their shows.

I’m excited to share that the two-night tickets for the No Repeat Weekends, along with single-night tickets, will become available for general purchase at 10am BST next Friday, May 30th. However, if you’re a member of our fan club, you’ll have an early access to pre-sales starting at 11am next Tuesday, May 27th. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
