Due to unforeseen circumstances, Olly Murs had no choice but to end his performance in Glasgow prematurely, performing only six songs.

Currently, the star is on a tour across the United Kingdom, featuring his 15 Years of Hits concert series, and originally planned to give a performance at the OVO Hydro arena in Scotland’s city.

Nevertheless, within only 20 short minutes at the 14,000-seater venue, Olly expressed regret to his audience and abruptly terminated the remainder of the performance.

After a mere 20 minutes in front of the crowd at the 14,000 capacity venue, Olly apologized to his fans and ended the rest of the show prematurely.

Later on, I shared a video via Instagram Stories, expressing that I wasn’t feeling my best – a bit rundown, in fact – and struggling with some issues related to my voice.

In a scratchy voice, Murs apologized profusely: “I feel terrible, Glasgow. I truly regret having to leave after just six songs and call off the performance tonight. This is something I’ve never had to do in my 15-year career.

Generally speaking, even when singers aren’t at their vocal best, they can usually manage. However, tonight, I left feeling particularly satisfied with the quality of my voice.

As a performer, I expressed my sincere apologies: “It simply didn’t sound right, and it’s not fair to you who have spent hard-earned money to attend. You deserve an exceptional show, and I aim to be at my best. I deeply regret this situation from the bottom of my heart, but I hope to make amends by recovering from this.

Later on, it became clear that he had an appointment with a doctor that same evening, expressing optimism about recovering in time for his performances scheduled over the weekend.

The celebrity indicated that he’ll make sure his followers are informed about the decision, based on what the doctor advises.

He ended the video with: “Apologies from the bottom of my heart, but yeah. Gutted.”

Murs is currently due to perform the final four shows of his tour across the next few days.

Tonight is the turn for Manchester’s AO Arena, followed by Birmingham’s BP Pulse this coming Saturday. On Sunday, we have a packed house at London’s O2 Arena, and it continues on Tuesday at the Brighton Centre.
