Joe Jonas was a little hesitant to catch the lovebug after his divorce.

Following their separation in 2024, the singer of the Jonas Brothers confessed that he found it challenging to dive back into dating. Yet, he persevered and received valuable guidance from a prospective romantic partner.

On Facebook’s TalkShop Live, Joe mentioned, “At the time, I had someone in my life, and I found myself considering dating once more. It was both terrifying and daunting because love can manifest in many ways. I was essentially learning anew about its nature.

Joe, who has children Willa, aged 4, and Delphine, aged 2 together with Sophie, acknowledged that the individual he was seeing provided some valuable guidance.

This person humorously and sarcastically said, ‘It’s just love,’ the 35-year-old reminisced. To which I responded, ‘Well, it means a lot to me, and evidently to them too. However, it’s worth taking a chance and diving in again, giving it another shot and being open.

Due to that connection, which lasted for about five months following his divorce, Joe found inspiration for his track “Only Love” from a heartfelt discussion. This song is featured on his newest solo album titled “Music for Those Who Embrace Love”.

Moreover, Joe explained that he found the song overly intimate to be shared with his siblings and band members Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.

He shared that he often recognized aspects of his own life in his experiences, and that person he saw was the same one reflected in the song. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to alter any of the lyrics to better fit his brothers’ situation.

In the midst of their separation, I couldn’t help but voice my thoughts along with many others, as Joe wasn’t the only one discussing the end of their four-year marital journey. Sophie, who parted ways with Peregrine Pearson in April, earlier shared insights about the profound effects this divorce had on her personal life.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar on October 30th, Sophie shared that she is currently involved in a legal situation that prevents her from saying much, but she found it incredibly sad. She added that their relationship was very beautiful, and parting ways was difficult.
