Connelly expressed, “I recognized his acting talent. When we embarked on the journey with him, it felt like, ‘This isn’t Bosch, but this is going to be quite good.’ Griggs may not share the same emotional or familial bond as Bosch, but he tackles problems exceptionally well. The Lincoln Lawyer Will Use Cisco To Help Fill In The Gaps
The most significant clue on how The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 addresses the Bosch issue arises from co-showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez. Following the conclusion of The Lincoln Lawyer season 3, I spoke with Rodriguez for Ebaster, and asked her about their approach to handle the absence. Although she couldn’t reveal specifics about the strategy, she hinted that character Cisco would step in to cover the gaps in a similar way as Lorna does when Jennifer Aronson is absent.
In Season 4, Ted Humphrey, one of the co-showrunners, acknowledged Bosch’s absence. He suggested a similar approach as when they transformed Lankford into Neil Bishop in The Lincoln Lawyer’s third season. Although it’s unlikely they’ll bring back Mwine, this is also how they handled Bosch and Detective Griggs in the past.
According to these statements, they might adopt a blended strategy for completing the gaps in the story. Humphry’s statement hints at a new character potentially joining Bosch’s narrative. Simultaneously, they plan to delegate much of Bosch’s duties to existing characters such as Cisco. However, it’s improbable that Cisco will handle all the tasks alone. In The Law of Innocence, he employs his former police investigator resources to gather information from within the system and scrutinize the discovery file.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 Would Also Face The Same Harry Bosch Challenge
Harry Bosch Will Always Be A Problem For The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5
Unfortunately, it seems highly unlikely that Netflix will acquire the rights from Prime Video to use Harry Bosch in future seasons of “The Lincoln Lawyer.” As a result, Season 5 remains unconfirmed since we haven’t even been given a release date for Season 4 yet. If Netflix decides to proceed with further installments after season 4, actors Rodriguez and Humphrey may need to find alternative ways to work around the character of Harry Bosch again.
It’s likely that the upcoming season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” would draw heavily from the book “Resurrection Day,” which focuses more on Harry Bosch. If “The Lincoln Lawyer” season 4 performs as expected, the creators will have successfully written around Bosch in significant ways for two seasons without encountering any problems.
