For instance, in the Fantastic Four, some Skrulls were magically turned into cows and left unattended, resulting in chaos as one might imagine. There’s also Bessie, who is known as Hellcow. Given her name and cape, it’s not difficult to guess that she’s a vampire cow, transformed by none other than Dracula. Predictably, this made her a formidable foe, especially for Howard the Duck at one point in time.

However, it’s not just his physical attributes that make him intimidating; his unique secondary ability does. This power allows Mandrill to emit potent pheromones, which he uses to influence females in a manner that raises significant concerns. Yes, predictably, he tends to exploit this power in a particular way.

8) Hindsight Lad

Reframing the statement: It’s often said that “hindsight” offers perfect clarity, a claim which is generally accepted. To illustrate, many Marvel enthusiasts didn’t foresee a hero using such a phrase casually, but it has happened nonetheless. Characters like Carlton LaFroyge are typical examples of individuals yearning to be superheroes. Although he declined the risky and questionable experiment, he took numerous other steps to make his name notable. Specifically, LaFroyge harbored a strong desire to join the New Warriors, and his relatively insignificant superpower was instrumental in achieving this goal.

It transpired that Carlton LaFroyge falsely declared having an ordinary, unremarkable power – the capacity to perceive what might have occurred moments too late for any alteration. In fact, we’d enjoy seeing more tales of this nature, provided the pet remains unharmed throughout. The peculiar aspect of Niels’ story is his commitment to adhering to his owner’s naming pattern. Speedball and Hairball make for an adorable duo, don’t they? However, things got a bit odd when Robbie transformed into Penance, necessitating a backstory too lengthy to share here. Loyal Niels followed suit, changing his name to P-Cat, which stands for Penitent Puss. Writing that was less than enjoyable for us.

10) The Orb

Interestingly, there are multiple Marvel characters with an eye theme that’s both powerful and unsettling, but The Orb stands out the most. To clarify, The Orb possesses a colossal eye as his head. Early in life, The Orb chose the path of a mercenary, and his extraordinary abilities aided him significantly. Regrettably, these abilities failed to shield him from harm, and The Orb has suffered severe injuries on numerous occasions.

For several years, the character’s world was relatively stable, until the pivotal event known as “Original Sin” took place. This event sparked an obsession within The Orb for The Watcher, leading him to a dramatic encounter where he shot The Watcher without killing him, instead stealing his eyes. Consequently, The Orb has assumed some of The Watcher’s responsibilities, yet he does not adhere strictly to the established rules.
