5 Emmerdale spoilers next week
1. Will Ruby Miligan confess to Anthony Fox’s murder?

As the body discovered in the lake remains unidentified, Ruby, Caleb Miligan (William Ash), Chas (Lucy Pargeter), and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) are growing increasingly fearful that it might be Anthony.
Since John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) declined to reveal the location of Anthony, it’s not hard to believe that this might be the case, and with this belief firmly in place, a rattled Ruby chooses to admit something.
Instead of staying put, Caleb proposes they leave, and even though she concurs, with Cain looking into the possibility of a visit to their Irish family members, Ruby quietly escapes and leaves a message for her spouse.
By herself at the police station, Ruby initiates by disclosing the long-term physical abuse her father had subjected her to.
In a fluster as he searches for Ruby, who has gone missing, Ruby informs the detective that Caleb played no part in Anthony’s vanishing.
But then the interview is interrupted by the arrival of a solicitor.
Chas spirals to hear of Ruby’s whereabouts, but Caleb assures her that his solicitor has a plan.
The police arrive to question Caleb, and Chas hides Ruby’s note.
Can they get Ruby out of this mess, or will the truth be exposed?
For those moved by Ruby’s tale, assistance is available through the NSPCC’s website. Additionally, you can reach out to them via their helpline at 0808 800 5000. If you prefer, you might also consider the Rape Crisis website and contacting their 24/7 support line at 0808 500 2222.
2. Nate Robinson’s body is found – and Cain Dingle is under suspicion

In due course, it is established that the corpse found in the lake belongs to Nate, and the police share this devastating revelation with his estranged wife, Tracy (Amy Walsh).
On the farm, Cain and Moira Dingle (played by Natalie J Robb) are taken aback when DC Cole breaks the news, explaining that due to Nate’s advanced state of decomposition, it’s impossible for Cain to identify his son.

Tracy narrates how Nate spent his final days in the village, and it isn’t long before Cain becomes a suspect, given his assault on Nate that very same day.
Under interrogation, Cain is reaching his breaking point, causing even Charlie to grow concerned that perhaps Cain may indeed be the one at fault. The family starts to ponder over Cain’s intentions.

Cain offers support to Tracy, but he’s so strangely contrite that Tracy grows suspicious.
Cain reels when DC Cole arrives with a big update on Nate’s case, but what have they learned?
And where is true killer John?
3. Eric Pollard suffers a fall

Pollard refuses Tracy’s assistance, instead opting to handle things himself. However, after suffering a fall without anyone nearby to aid him, he comes to regret his decision of going it alone.
At the hospital, Pollard seems to have forgotten the incident. Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) suggest that he might benefit from having some assistance at home.
Pollard remains determined to handle things independently as he finds himself feeling disrespected and overly guided, even though his Parkinson’s disease is advancing.
But as he struggles with everyday tasks, Kerry calls a home-help company.

After another fall, Pollard finally accepts the help he needs.
Will he be happy with the resolution?

Belle suggests that April might benefit from redoing the year, and Marlon is left more hopeful.
During April’s trial shift for a summer job at Take A Vow, she unexpectedly ends up filming a christening.

However, April feels a chill of dread when she identifies one of the men who had menaced her with the intent of urinating on her while she slumbered on the streets, as the father of the newborn baby.

5. Belle Dingle gives new investor Dawn Fletcher an ultimatum

I, Joe Tate, propose that we, Dawn and myself, venture into managing the weddings at Home Farm, independently from Take A Vow.
But Dawn pitches herself as Belle’s new business partner.
Belle asks Dawn to swear that Take A Vow will not accept any funds from Joe, thus placing Dawn in a difficult choice.
As a passionate movie-goer, I find myself in a dilemma when Joe proposes lending money to invest on Belle’s behalf without her knowledge, and that’s Dawn. The decision weighs heavily on my heart, torn between the allure of opportunity and loyalty towards Belle. What path will I choose?
Later, Dawn is eager for her first day, but has she secretly taken Joe’s cash injection?
