Square Enix has revealed that the remake of Dragon Quest 1 and 2, featuring HD-2D graphics, will hit stores on October 30th. The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch, as well as the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. You can secure your copy by pre-ordering it at a price of $59.99.
Originating from Artdink, the collection known as The Erdrick Trilogy includes the games, with Dragon Quest 3 being the one that comes first chronologically. In this series, you play as a descendant of Erdrick, tasked with defeating the Dragonlord and rescuing Alefgard. The second installment maintains a similar theme but expands the story across various kingdoms and multiple descendants of Erdrick.
Customers who pre-order receive three types of Seeds: Strength, Defense, Agility, Life, and Magic, along with a pair of elevating shoes. Players who have saved data from the remake of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D can also get a dog suit in the first game and a cat suit in the second. All these items can be obtained by playing both games, but they’ll require more time to unlock.
