Pokemon Legends: Z-A Launches on October 16th

Nintendo has revealed that “Pokemon Legends: Z-A,” the upcoming primary installment in the franchise, is set to debut on October 16th. Originally planned for the Nintendo Switch console, it will also be available on the enhanced Switch 2, providing superior graphics and smoother gameplay.

Just like numerous other titles, the company has confirmed that those who already own both digital and physical versions on Switch 1 are eligible to upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition by purchasing an upgrade pack for a fee. The price hasn’t been disclosed yet, but if the pattern set by games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, it might cost around $10.

It’s still unknown what the cost of Pokemon Legends: Z-A will be. It could follow the $70 price of Donkey Kong Bananza or maintain the $80 pricing strategy from Mario Kart World, but only time will tell, so keep an eye out for further updates.
