In Wednesday’s episode of Coronation Street on May 28, 2025, a chilling new danger was hinted at, as the aftermath of Craig Tinker’s violent death lingered on.
On the break of a brand-new day, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) found himself seething because his mother, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove), had provided an alibi to Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), who stood accused of burglarizing Kit’s apartment.
When Kit informed Bernie that she needed to recant her statement or risk being arrested for obstructing justice, Bernie stubbornly maintained that Brody was kin, and as if on cue, Kit’s partner, Sarah Platt (played by Tina O’Brien), entered the scene.
Kit confided in Sarah that there was a possibility he could be Brody’s real dad, and eventually chose to offer him an opportunity for change, stating he would retract his claim if the teenager demonstrated positive growth.
Upon Kit sharing that he didn’t wish for me to turn out like Mick Michaelis, the individual I thought was my father and a violent man, I struggled to process this information effectively.
The young man later confronted Bernie, suspicious over why she had given him the alibi.
As Bernie was attempting to clarify her thoughts, word arrived that Mick, the individual responsible for Craig’s death the previous week, had received a severe beating within the prison.
At the hospital, Mick received a visitor – but what home truths awaited him?
It has officially been revealed that on the 30th of May, 2025, Mick will disclose to his wife Lou (Farrel Hegarty) that Kit had set up an attack against him, and furthermore, demanded that Mick confess to Craig’s murder or endure a more severe beating.
