Last October, Halo Studios (previously known as 343 Industries) disclosed they were transitioning to Unreal Engine 5 and were working on several new Halo projects as part of this significant internal change. One of these upcoming projects might be unveiled soon, hints suggest.
According to leaker Rebs Gaming, a significant Halo announcement is expected later this year. In a recent video uploaded by the YouTuber, it was suggested that Halo Studios may have a major announcement planned for the Halo World Championships in October. Since last year’s venue saw announcements of Halo Studios’ rebranding, engine switch, and multiple new Halo projects, there’s speculation that this year’s event could reveal (or give us a sneak peek) of the upcoming game in the Halo sci-fi shooter series.
Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted on new information as it comes our way.
Just a few days ago, Halo Studios unveiled an update for their game Halo Infinite. This latest patch includes a fresh addition to the arsenal – the Mutilator weapon, alongside new gameplay modes such as playlists and operations, and more exciting features. For further details, check it out here.
