Initially, when you start playing Elden Ring Nightreign, there are two play modes available: Single Player (Solo) and Three-Player Cooperative (Co-op Trios). The Co-op Trios mode is the main option.

Currently, Elden Ring Nightreign offers just two play modes. But, developer FromSoftware hinted at adding a cooperative, two-player mode down the line. You’ll be able to toggle between these modes prior to embarking on your adventure, ensuring both online and offline experiences can be enjoyed.

1. Navigate to the main menu or pause screen of the game.
