Knives Out 3: Wake Up Dead Man Netflix release date confirmed at TUDUM

As a passionate cinephile, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming third installment of the Knives Out series, titled “Wake Up Dead Man.” Fortunately, the wait won’t be excruciatingly long as we eagerly anticipate the release of this intriguing Daniel Craig murder-mystery.

At the TUDUM Live event by Netflix, they’ve shared the release date for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery – the third movie in the series. It’s set to premiere on our screens on 12th December 2025.

The unveiling of the film’s launch date also included a preview of the movie’s content, offering a tantalizing glimpse into further mysteries, murders, and eccentric personalities that will be featured in the production.

You can watch the teaser for yourself below.

In the upcoming film, Benoit Blanc, the detective played by Daniel Craig, makes his reappearance. This character was central in the last two movies and now faces his deadliest case so far.

Once more, it’s Rian Johnson at the helm, both writing and directing, much like his past projects. Notably, this film, Wake Up Dead Man, has an impressive ensemble of talented actors.

The cast for this project includes Craig along with Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, Thomas Haden Church, and Jeremy Renner.

A haunting preview for Wake Up Dead Man emerged recently, consisting of a brief 12-seconds video displaying a church and a spooky bell tolling in the distance.

In my own words, I’d say: “I find that those who are evil yearn for the fortress of wrongdoers, but the foundation of the righteous stands firm.

As a film enthusiast, I’ve found myself pondering over a mysterious biblical passage and video clip that has left fellow fans scratching their heads, trying to decipher its hidden meaning.

In the initial glimpse, both O’Connor and Craig are depicted inside a church, which suggests that Knives Out 3 might take on a distinctly biblical flavor; however, we’ll need to keep an eye out for further confirmation.
