The Next Big Marvel Event Has Finally Arrived

As a die-hard comics fan, especially of Marvel‘s cosmic tales, I can hardly contain my excitement! The upcoming interstellar comic book event from Marvel Comics promises to deliver all that we’ve been eagerly anticipating – and more!

In a sneak peek for Marvel Comics’ upcoming comic series titled “Imperial #1”, viewers catch a glimpse of Amadeus Cho, Jennifer Walters, and Bruce Banner traveling through space on a ship traversing the gateway linking the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies. Regrettably, this journey is not a leisurely family trip or holiday excursion, but an intergalactic odyssey to Sakaar En Nevo. It seems that the Hulk has embarked on this quest to seek vengeance for his deceased son. Remarkably, the world of Sakaar En Nevo is teeming with daunting adversaries who remain oblivious to their true opponent, much like in its predecessor.

The highly anticipated Imperial #1 from Marvel Comics is poised to launch an unprecedented cosmic saga. The initial installment will unfold over four segments titled “Light the Pyre of Hiro Kala,” “Through the Fulcrum,” “Poison the Water, Poison the Well,” and “Nature Abhors a Vacuum.” Alongside its gamma-radiated associates, other significant Marvel Comics space heroes are expected to take center stage, including the Black Panther and a mystery Accuser.

I’m thrilled about this project because I’m such an avid fan of Marvel Cosmic. Our aim is to create something similar to what we did with the latest Ultimate series, but instead of making Imperial, our space title setup book, a world-building exercise like Ultimate Invasion, we want it to be more of a significant event. The artists are doing an exceptional job, and everyone involved can’t wait for the developments in this unique part of the Marvel Universe.

In the Marvel Universe, the galaxies are on the verge of significant chaos as the removal of key leaders leaves a power vacuum. Empires crumble, rulers are dethroned, and power struggles ensue in this tale of intrigue, secrets, and conflict. This narrative unfolds amidst the rise of a new galactic order within the Marvel Universe, promising dramatic shifts to its cosmic characters’ status quo.

Imperial #1 goes on sale June 4 from Marvel Comics.
