Given the current political climate of this kingdom, they could potentially be easy prey for the Dark Lord to deceive. Much like Celebrimbor, the citizens of Numenor are known for their pride and ambition, making them susceptible to Sauron’s manipulation. Among these individuals, Kemen, the son of Pharazon, seems to be a prime candidate for Sauron’s initial target.

According to Tolkien lore, it seems that Sauron intends to exploit Pharazon’s actions against the powerful Valar of Valinor, implying a potentially complex dynamic between them. While Kemen may prove beneficial to Sauron in other ways, Pharazon harbors little regard for his son and, as hinted in “Rings of Power” season 2, Kemen’s late mother foresaw a troubling destiny for him. During “Return of the King,” this malevolent figure communicated with Gandalf and Aragorn on behalf of Sauron, presenting his demands. In Peter Jackson’s movie adaptation, The Mouth of Sauron was initially featured but was eventually removed from the theatrical version of “Return of the King.” Now, the upcoming Amazon series, “The Rings of Power,” might reintroduce this character to the screen.
