In the first season, we were introduced to the enigmatic vigilante, Hector Ayala (Kamar de los Reyes), whose untimely demise left us in shock. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) was deeply entwined with Ayala’s family, including his niece, Angela Del Toro (Camila Rodriguez). The recently leaked image captures Rodriguez on set donning a homemade ensemble adorned with the White Tiger’s signature colors – white and black stripes adorning a bandana concealing her face. Whether this marks Angela’s transformation into the crime-fighting White Tiger or merely a demonstration remains to be seen.
Spectators are thoroughly enjoying themselves as they ponder over this image of Angela in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. It’s tough not to suspect it’s accidental that her attire is so deliberately chosen, with black pants, shoes, a vest, hoodie, and white tiger-patterned bandana, as well as black gloves, elbow pads, and knee pads. In the series, NYC Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) has been firm against vigilantes. It could be that she’s participating in a protest or demonstration, wearing her uncle’s colors as a tribute to him now that his actions are exposed to the public eye.
It’s a shrewd decision to reintroduce Angela in Season 2 and delve deeper into her narrative. Angela was a pivotal character in Season 1 – not only did she influence Matt’s actions, but her kidnapping by Muse was the catalyst that brought the serial killer out of seclusion. Given her experiences, it seems plausible for her to take up vigilante work or leverage her public persona to advocate for legal protections for such activities.
Filming for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 commenced in February and is set to run until at least August, with various scenes being shot across New York City. The new season is slated to debut on Disney+ in March 2026.
