On June 5th, Nintendo Switch 2 will be released, and to give us a glimpse of what to expect, they’ve unveiled a fresh trailer for Welcome Tour. Similar to the paid version of Astro’s Playroom on PS5 but with a twist, this game allows players to navigate a digital exhibit, gaining insights into the features and capabilities of the Nintendo Switch 2.
In all, there are 12 locations, each hosting mini-games that revolve around different elements. For instance, you control a UFO using your mouse to dodge spike balls for as long as you can, participate in a trivia game to guess the frame rate of videos and so on. As you successfully complete these mini-games, you earn Medals which, in turn, open up access to additional mini-games.
Explorers have the opportunity to discover numerous hidden facts about the gaming device, such as its screen, the rear side of the dock, and other intriguing aspects like the purpose behind the space between the console and its controllers (Joy-Cons). By gathering all this knowledge, you’re ready for a challenge – a quiz to test your understanding. As you delve deeper into the exhibition, collecting Stamps will grant you access to additional zones, even peeking inside the device itself.
