IO Interactive’s James Bond game is titled 007 First Light, and it’s being revealed this week

This week, developer and publisher IO Interactive will officially reveal their James Bond video game, which is called “007 First Light.”

IO Interactive’s James Bond game, known as “007 First Light,” is being presented this week.

Back in November 2020, IO Interactive, renowned for its Hitman series, unveiled plans for a new James Bond game. Originally referred to as Project 007, they revealed that the game would feature an entirely unique narrative, rather than replicating a classic James Bond tale such as GoldenEye.

At present, we’re unsure about the specific details of this upcoming reveal. However, it’s important to remember that IO Interactive previously announced their James Bond game will be playable on the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

It’s highly probable that the reveal will take place during Summer Game Fest 2025, scheduled for June 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time or 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

I’m eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the game adaptation of one of the globe’s iconic spies, James Bond. Will it emphasize stealth, undercover work, and evidence collection? Is seduction a significant element, as per tradition? How will they handle the extravagant action sequences? Can I request a vodka martini within the game? These are the key aspects I’m curious to find out more about during the official announcement.
