Savannah Chrisley Details Todd and Julie Chrisley’s Life After Prison

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley have been making up for lost time.

Approximately a week following the release from prison of the former stars of Chrisley Knows Best, who received pardons from President Donald Trump, their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, provided a glimpse into what their initial days at home entailed.

Savannah expressed on her June 3 podcast episode of Unlocked, recorded two days after her parents’ release, that the previous day was quite enjoyable. She prepared dinner for her entire family, which included steaks, pastas, salads, and potatoes. The result was a diverse spread that delighted her family members, particularly her parents.

Before their scheduled family press conference on May 30, where Savannah and Todd openly expressed their determination to challenge his past convictions they believe were unjust, this father-daughter pair additionally decided to go shopping at Nordstrom to purchase a fresh suit for him to wear at the event.

But while they were there, they realized they were not alone.

Savannah reminisced, “I had thought we’d escaped their notice, but alas, the media trailed us relentlessly and pursued us wherever we went.

She laughed, saying it was amusing, and swiftly shared some photos of her father on Instagram. “I thought, ‘They can’t beat me to it! Absolutely not!'” she exclaimed.

And for his part, Todd handled the press with humor and grace.  

The 27-year-old commented, ‘We really enjoyed the entire trip,'” Dad’s humor is still intact, and he remains just as lively as always.”

“The young man said, ‘We had a blast on our adventure,'” Dad’s humor hasn’t faded; he’s as spirited as ever.

Regarding the question about Julie, who wasn’t present at the family press conference, it turns out she decided to spend her initial days of freedom with her and Todd’s adoptive daughter named Chloe.

Savannah shared that her mom has been home, taking care of laundry, and enjoying quality time with both Chloe and herself.

Chloe is Todd’s granddaughter through his son, Kyle Chrisley. Kyle shares a biological relationship with Chloe, but Todd and Julie took her in as their adoptive daughter back in 2016 when Kyle was grappling with drug issues and had distanced himself from his father.

On her very first morning back home, Savannah explained, we spent time on my bed scrolling through my Instagram. I showed her every post and video from the time she’d been away, and it was fascinating to observe her responses as she got updated about our lives. It felt great to bring her up-to-speed in such an engaging way.

The property tycoon and his daughter were prominent attendees at the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards held in Las Vegas.

At the 2015 NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Upfront in New York City, Todd and Julie ensured that Savannah and Chase stayed near them.
