In a turn of events, Alfie managed to express sincerely his feelings for Kat, eventually convincing her to remarry him for a third time. After much deliberation, he got down on one knee, and with Kat’s command, he proposed, to which she agreed.

The duo found themselves in fits of laughter, sprawled on the ground, while at The Queen Vic, Kat took great pleasure in making Harvey and Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) pay for half of the photoshoot costs. This not only covered the expenses but also served as an informal prelude to their wedding.

Jean was taken aback upon entering and finding Kat appearing so amicable with Harvey and Kathy, prompting her and Alfie to clarify the circumstances.

Kat insisted she hadn’t known Harvey would be her business partner until she had signed a contract.
