Kourtney Kardashian Cries as Penelope Disick Finishes 6th Grade

Kourtney Kardashian’s vibe right now is losing it over Penelope Disick’s latest milestone. 

Following the completion of their 12-year-old son’s sixth grade, the Kardashians star took to social media to share an emotional post marking the special moment.

Kourtney posted on her Instagram Story on June 3rd, ‘I’m tearing up because my little girl has finished sixth grade,’ along with a picture of herself with her hands over her face. She humorously mentioned that her middle schooler wasn’t as moved, and instead was taking photos of her, indicated by the use of a laughing emoji.

Moreover, though she appeared joyful for her pre-teen, Kourtney recently shared a contrasting viewpoint regarding her children’s education in general. In a recent episode of her sister Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, she mentioned that her kids would send her videos featuring stories of adults who achieved success without formal schooling.

Kourtney, who has children Mason (aged 15), Reign (10), and Rocky with Scott, along with Travis Barker, acknowledged. “Should we homeschool instead?” she suggested.

In simpler terms, as the founder of Poosh expressed, she often finds herself questioning, “Why should children attend school? It really seems so outdated.

Nonetheless, Kourtney has consistently acknowledged her children’s achievements. In fact, she marked their final day of school last year with a surprise: arranging for a Raising Canes food truck and a mechanical bull to launch their summer break.

“School is out!!” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “Hello Summer!”

Furthermore, Kourtney, who is also a stepmother to Travis’ children – Atiana De La Hoya (age 26), Landon Barker (age 21), and Alabama Barker (age 19) – cherishes every opportunity to appreciate the stages of their development as they grow.

She shared with Harper’s Bazaar in 2015 that the most delightful aspect for her, while raising her children, is re-experiencing her own childhood. This includes visiting Disneyland, rewatching films she loved as a child, reading books from her youth, and even rereading those same stories to her kids. It’s quite enjoyable—almost like getting another chance to be a kid again and engaging in those enchanting experiences once more.

Last year in 2022, I was fortunate enough to be part of an exciting outing organized by Kourtney. She invited her son Mason, as well as Travis and his daughter Alabama, for a thrilling visit to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. It was a chilling yet memorable experience we shared together!

Kourtney’s child, Penelope, donned a devilish outfit while the group made their way to the immersive pumpkin extravaganza in Los Angeles, known as Nights of the Jack.

While they were on their Nights of the Jack escapade, Alabama spotted Travis and Penelope enjoying a tender instant, with him hoisting her up on his shoulders to stroll about.
