Switch 2 Has Mario Kart World, But You’ll Soon Have All You Can Drift with Garfield Kart 2 on PS5

Given the arrival of Switch 2 and its blockbuster Mario Kart title, PlayStation 5 enthusiasts might find themselves pondering – what about our exciting new kart racing game for us?

Wonder no more, as publisher Microids has announced Garfield Kart 2: All You Can Drift.

Based on developer Eden Games, thus far we’ve only been presented with the aforementioned teaser trailer and some images, but the anticipated title is set to launch on September 10th exclusively for PlayStation 5.

The game appears to involve assuming roles of popular Garfield characters, who will be competing in thematically designed settings, like pirate, western, and detective landscapes.

Essential elements of go-kart racing are present as well, such as vehicles for obstructing opponents, hidden paths to explore, and the option for both offline and online competition with others.

Back in 2019, the initial Garfield Kart was launched on PS4, meaning it’s been quite some time since Garfield took control of the wheel. For those of you who miss kart racing and haven’t secured a Switch 2 just yet, rest assured that our pasta-loving feline friend is still around to provide some entertainment!
