EastEnders’ Tameka Empson reveals major storyline she wants for Kim Fox

Tameka Empson shares what she hopes will be the upcoming major plot twist for her character, Kim Fox, on the soap opera EastEnders.

Under the title “Kim the Influencer,” outgoing Kim takes charge, orchestrating romantic affairs among townspeople such as Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and arranging a wedding for Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie).

But might Kim be in need of her own services soon?

Hinting playfully, the actress suggested that maybe it’s high time for Kim to take a stroll towards the altar with her longtime companion, Howie Danes, played by Delroy Atkinson.

It’s worth noting that Kim isn’t currently married to Howie. So, I’m left wondering if there’s something going on between them. Could it be a sign that he might propose? Honestly, I can’t say for certain.

As a cinephile, I certainly think Kim might be subtly hinting towards Howie, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she casually leaves a few clues here and there – like dropping a prop or two if he misses the signal!

It remains to be seen if Howie will propose, but fans can expect an entertaining evolution of her character in the forthcoming episodes. However, smooth sailing isn’t guaranteed as there will be challenges ahead.

“There’ll be more joy now that Kim is back, there’ll be more joy and a little bit of pain.”

If the situation doesn’t involve hurting others, it seems that playful Kim might find herself in some complicated circumstances soon, though there were no hints about what could happen next.

Regardless of who it might have been, she was destined for happiness. I’m confident that she would have ended up just fine, either way.

It was really pleasant to see them reunited since they make an excellent pair. They fit together like old slippers, working harmoniously for so long that parting them seemed a bit uncomfortable. Therefore, it feels good to witness their reunion again.

Inquired about her preferred emotional highlight from the soap operas this year, the actress pointed out that the live, tear-jerking demise of longtime EastEnders character Martin Fowler (played by James Bye) resonated deeply with audiences, as they all shared in their sorrow.

To be completely truthful, I thoroughly appreciated the 40th gathering since it included everyone. It was quite emotional seeing Martin leave, and I believe many others shared this sentiment. In fact, it seemed like the whole nation felt a bit of that sadness, causing some to take a break from work.

Empson also praised the community feel of the show’s milestone 40th anniversary episodes.

As a die-hard movie fan, I can’t help but reflect on an unforgettable experience – a time when the intricate web of characters converged, and the fact that this was a culmination of four decades in the cinematic world only added to its grandeur. I recall watching it as a child, dreaming of being part of such a story, and now, here I am, living that very dream. To be present during this moment is indescribable; it’s more than just being there – it’s a moment etched deep within my heart, one I can confidently say, has left an indelible mark on me.
