It’s been confirmed by Konami that the forthcoming game, Silent Hill F, is set to release as soon as September 25th, and noteworthy improvements have been promised for its PS5 Pro version.
Motoi Okamoto, the producer of the series, clarified on the PS Blog that the game will maintain high-quality visuals consistently, without revealing any technical details. However, it’s worth noting that the new trailer was recorded on Sony’s powerful system and runs at a smooth 60 frames per second.
It seems like a game that would benefit greatly from high resolution, as the realistic portrayal of 1960s Japan is likely to stand out even more vividly in stunning 4K quality.
Okamoto elaborated on the PS5 Pro upgrade, stating that players can anticipate a more streamlined and visually pleasing combat encounter.
Given that last year’s Silent Hill 2 didn’t fully utilize Sony’s mid-generation upgrade, it’s reassuring to learn that Konami is designing this game with the hardware in mind from the outset.
