Yulissa Escobar’s time in the villa was cut short.

To put it simply, even after just a couple of shows into Love Island USA‘s seventh season, the show’s narrator announced unexpectedly that she wouldn’t be continuing with the show, long before her fellow islanders woke up for the day.

During the June 4 episode, Iain Stirling warmly greeted viewers once again from the Fiji summer house before casually sharing that “Yulissa is no longer in the villa.

An unforeseen situation unfolded when Escobar was spotted napping next to Ace Green, who was her partner during that phase. Later on, Stirling clarified that Green, being 22 years old, is currently single.

Peacock confirmed to TopMob News that the Miami-native was no longer a contestant on the show.

Escobar’s exit follows a wave of criticism online, sparked by old recordings of her using the N-word in various podcast discussions about past relationships. Additionally, her admission of voting for former President Donald Trump ignited further controversy among internet users.

TopMob News has attempted to contact representatives of Escobar without a response so far. There’s no activity from her online, however, she was recently spotted at a place where phone usage is restricted (villa).

Upon the resurfacing of the clips, some devoted followers pledged to oust me from the competition at the earliest opportunity. Many rejoiced when this came to pass, with one commenting on the show’s Instagram, “Love Island thrives on drama and I adore it,” while another humorously stated, “Denied us the fun of voting you out.

However, it’s not just Escobar who faced fan criticism. Austin Shepard too encountered backlash when screenshots of his TikTok reposts, which were supportive of Trump, spread on social media platform X. Yet, he continues to reside in the villa daily.
