Manhunt Underway for Dad of 3 Missing Daughters Found Dead

A tragedy is unfolding in Washington State.

In the days following the grim discovery of Travis Decker’s three daughters – Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia (5) – near his truck in Chelan County, law enforcement agencies are intensifying their efforts to locate the 32-year-old individual.

In a statement on June 3rd, Wenatchee authorities revealed that a deputy found Decker’s car close to Rock Island Campground, which can be accessed via Icicle Road. However, the vehicle was empty. Subsequently, more law enforcement personnel arrived and conducted a thorough search of the vicinity. During this search, the bodies of the three missing girls were tragically unearthed.

Presently, authorities are seeking Decker due to three charges: first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping. Decker, a veteran from the military, has received extensive training. It’s unclear at this time if he is carrying any weapons, but there could be a substantial danger if anyone attempts to approach him.

On May 30th, it was reported by the Wenatchee Police Department that the girls’ mother had submitted a civil lawsuit, expressing concern because her daughters did not return following a scheduled visit with their father.

A few days had passed when, on June 2nd, the bodies of the girls were discovered. The Chelan County Coroner suggested in a tentative report that they may have died from suffocation, according to Fox 13 Seattle’s reporting.

According to the Wenatchee police’s statement, they reached out to the Washington State Patrol for an AMBER Alert when the girls went missing. Yet, the situation didn’t satisfy the necessary conditions for issuing such an alert.

On May 31, the department’s detectives reached out to Washington State Patrol once more, providing further details. As a result, an Endangered Missing Person Alert was broadcasted.

According to the Wenatchee police’s announcement, they contacted the Washington State Patrol to initiate an AMBER Alert the very same day the girls went missing. Nevertheless, it didn’t fulfill the necessary criteria for such an alert.

On May 31, the department’s detectives reached out to the Washington State Patrol once more, providing further details. As a result, an alert for an Endangered Missing Person was broadcasted.

When a custodial parent fails to return the children to another parent on time in Washington State, local law enforcement might not immediately have signs suggesting that the children are in peril.

On May 31st, I was informed that the state patrol had issued an Endangered Missing Person Alert. This type of alert is specifically for individuals who are unable to aid in their own rescue. It serves a similar purpose to an AMBER alert, providing public notification and outreach.

In my role as a dedicated follower of events, I’m sharing an appeal from the authorities regarding Decker. If you think you’ve spotted him since May 30th or know his current location, please dial 911 promptly. It’s crucial to note that for safety reasons, you should not attempt to engage with or approach Decker directly.
