In the game Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, many adversaries test your abilities, but pursuing some of the deadliest rewards scattered across the Southern Horns will truly strain your skills to their utmost. Among the earliest bounties you’ll encounter on the board within their fortress is Fingerless Colm, a particularly challenging target.
If you haven’t yet talked to Cillian, who oversees Kamelot’s rewards, he will serve as your primary contact for this mission. Although Colm isn’t as fearsome an adversary as Senan the Giant, capturing him will prove challenging due to his strategic location and the numerous guards protecting him.
How To Start The Head Of Fingerless Colm
Just as with each reward in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, don’t forget to visit the bounty board located at the southwestern Horns of the South fortress for your next objective.
As you walk through the front gates, keep an eye out for Cillian straight ahead. You’ll spot a board near him with several initial quests, such as Senan the Giant, Rusty Ardghal, and your current objective: Fingerless Colm.
How To Find & Kill Fingerless Colm
After reading the notice at the fortress, make your way straight east towards the East Gate without delay.
Starting here, go west through the entrance and beyond the gallows, where you will find a set of stairways ascending and pointing towards your destination. Proceed past the gallows, facing the staircases on the scaffolding, and continue along the zigzagging pathway.
As I traverse the scaffolding, I take down any foes that cross my path, aiming high to eventually reach Fingerless Colm.
Colm is stationed at the farthest end of a lengthy pier supported by scaffolds. You have the option to approach him stealthily and catch him unawares, or engage him with your preferred spell or melee weapon to prompt him towards falling off the edge.
Keep a close eye on your steps when you’re up here, since the danger of slipping and falling is high while dodging Colm’s assaults. It’s crucial to stay alert!
He’ll lash out at you with his sword, which can do decent damage.
If you’re slow on the uptake with your attacks, or if you let him rest, Colm might chug a potion when he has around 70% of his health left and then counterattack.
Instead of relying heavily on multiple attack combinations, show some restraint and take your time to find the perfect moment to counterattack.
When you defeat Colm, loot his body to receive the following:

- Colm the Fingerless’ Head
- 104 coins
- Iron Throwing Knives
- Colm’s Finger Necklace
- Shadow Blade
- Leather Breastplate
- Leather Gauntlets
- Leather Pants
- Leather Boots
Don’t forget to grab the Keeper’s Tag from the corpse here before you leave.

Once you have completely searched the location, make your way back to Cillian at the Horns of the South outpost to claim your prize.
