The continuation of “The Cleaning Lady” on Fox has been officially decided. Unfortunately, this development won’t bring satisfaction to viewers eagerly awaiting a fifth season.
According to recent reports, Fox has chosen not to renew “The Cleaning Lady” for a fifth season, making it one of two series that have been discontinued. The other show is “Alert: Missing Persons.” Both shows have completed their latest seasons, with “Alert: Missing Persons” having only three episodes in its final run. This decision comes after Fox previously ended “Rescue: Hi-Surf” following a single season.
Doc‘s series has been renewed for Season 2, while The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, and Family Guy each received a four-season extension. After a multi-year absence, American Dad! is back on Fox. Furthermore, the network will be introducing some fresh shows to replace the canceled ones. Previously, Fox greenlit the comedies Best Medicine and Memory of a Killer, as well as the biblical drama The Faithful.
