Sydney Sweeney Teases Euphoria’s Cassie Is “Even Worse” in Season 3

Cassie Howard still isn’t feeling very euphoric.

Sydney Sweeney discusses the evolution of her character in the upcoming third season of ‘Euphoria’, and she’s quite open about where Cassie currently finds herself mentally.

On the June 5th episode of The Tonight Show, Sydney mentioned to Jimmy Fallon that Cassie is quite eccentric. She added a hint that in the latest season of the HBO series, Cassie’s behavior becomes even more unconventional.

Is there a chance we might see Cassie getting married on the show, given the pictures from the set that have been leaked recently? Sydney didn’t provide any insights into the meaning behind these photos, which depict her wearing a wedding dress and walking down an aisle adorned with intertwined initials “C” and “N.” (It’s been suggested by fans that these initials refer to Cassie and Nate, played by Jacob Elordi, who was her love interest in season two.)

“I can’t confirm or deny,” The White Lotus alum said before joking that the photos, “could be A.I.”

After Sydney (who parted ways with her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, in May after seven years together) chose to keep silent about the rest of her character’s storyline in season three of ‘Euphoria’, certain aspects of the upcoming episodes have been disclosed over the past few months.

According to Variety, it was revealed by Warner Bros. Discovery’s global streaming chief JB Perrette at a technology and media gathering in December that the program will likely make its comeback in 2026.

Besides Sydney and Jacob, actors like Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Eric Dane, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo will all return for season three, which started filming in February. In this season, we’ll also see Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch, Rosalía, and Sharon Stone making special guest appearances on the show.

It’s not much more exhilarating than working with this extraordinary group of talents, as the actress from Basic Instinct expressed in a statement in February.
