After receiving acclaim (and criticism) during its open beta phase on Steam, Amazing Seasun Games has officially set a launch date for their upcoming team-based mecha competitive shooter game titled Mecha BREAK. The game will be available starting July 1st for both Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. Take a look at the latest trailer, featuring music by renowned composer Hiroyuki Sawano.
Set in a post-apocalyptic landscape marked by conflict between countries and factions over a valuable resource known as Corite, players assume control of mechs in various PvP battles, striving for dominance. A variety of mech types are available, such as the Falcon with its flight capability, and the bulkier Tricera armed with multiple weapons, offering more defensive strength.
In addition to regular competitive games, players have the opportunity to engage in a unique game mode known as Mashmak, featuring upgrades, artificial intelligence opponents, and many other exciting elements. For further information, please follow this link.
In the beta testing, Mecha BREAK garnered generally favorable feedback regarding its gameplay mechanics. However, the process of advancing and acquiring additional mechs sparked considerable criticism. Keep an eye out for updates about possible adjustments in the forthcoming weeks.
