Tribute Games, the developer we’re talking about, is quite occupied these days. Apart from working on Marvel Cosmic Invasion, they’ve recently unveiled Scott Pilgrim EX – yet another engaging pixelated side-scrolling fighting game.
This freshly released game, inspired by the cherished graphic novel series, offers a cooperative mode for up to four players. The captivating narrative it presents is an exclusive creation, jointly penned by Bryan Lee O’Malley himself.
Toronto is currently under the control of three distinct groups – The Vegans, The Robots, and The Demons. It falls upon Scott and his team to resist and restore peace to the city.
Seven distinct characters are available for gameplay, each boasting their own exclusive set of actions. Additionally, these characters can be enhanced by boosting their statistics and acquiring special equipment.
Enthusiasts of the initial pixel art fighter based on Scott Pilgrim can look forward to the return of Anamanaguchi, as they will once again provide the music for this upcoming game.
It appears this game seems promising, hailing from a studio garnering recognition. The title “Scott Pilgrim EX” is slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 in the year 2026.
