At this year’s Summer Game Fest, Annapurna Interactive, in partnership with Beethoven & Dinosaur, has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming title, “Mixtape”. This adventure game delves into the life of a teenager.

On the final evening of their high school years, a trio of companions decide to share one more experience, choosing an adventure as their finale. Accompanied by a collection of melodies that echo their era, they journey through a series of recollections.
As we journeyed towards our final gathering as friends, a meticulously chosen soundtrack transported me into surreal recreations of my defining youthful experiences. I encountered a diverse assortment of short stories highlighting the moments that molded me, from my first romantic gesture to the bittersweet goodbye dance. It’s like reliving the best of our teenage camaraderie, from skateboarding rides and soaring flights to capturing memories at an abandoned amusement park under the cover of night, playing baseball, and orchestrating a fireworks display from the backseat of a car. It’s a compilation of youthful exhilaration, from the first kiss to the last dance.
From the creators behind BAFTA-winning game The Artful Escape, entitled Mixtape, takes its cue from timeless coming-of-age films. It merges reminiscent aimlessness, playful mischief, music, the emotional ups and downs of adolescence, along with the bittersweet sensations that accompany growth, transformation, and leaving behind old phases.
Showcasing tunes by DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and a host of other artists.

2025 marks the release of the game “Mixtape” on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and both PC platforms (Steam for PC and Microsoft Store for Windows). Additionally, it will be included in Xbox Game Pass.
