Dune Awakening Shares Hotfix Patch Notes, Plus Daily Update Plans

The science-fiction MMO titled “Dune: Awakening” is now available in early access on Steam. Although the complete version won’t be out until June 10th, players who purchased higher editions like Deluxe are already traversing Arrakis. So far, the game has been well-received by these early adopters. However, similar to many MMOs, “Dune Awakening” is experiencing increased demand from players, testing the limits of its servers. To maintain smooth operation, the developer, Funcom, has rolled out a hotfix to enhance server stability. Moreover, Funcom intends to update “Dune: Awakening” daily for the next few days.

In the game “Dune: Awakening”, players can traverse the expanses of Arrakis in a massive multiplayer online role-playing setting that focuses on survival. Since its early access release, over 71,000 gamers have already given it a try. As they battle sandworms and construct their strongholds, they’ve run into some unforeseen glitches. To fix these issues and prepare for the game’s complete launch next week, regular updates are being released, known as patches. Funcom plans to issue these patches daily around the same time each day, with a few exceptions. Consequently, expect “Dune: Awakening” to be offline starting roughly at 4:00 AM EDT for the following days.

Today at 10:00 CEST, we’ll perform updates on the game. The maintenance period might extend up to approximately 2.5 hours, but we’ll restore service as soon as the update is done. Keep in mind that for a few days, we might need to carry out daily updates, and we’ll do our best to adhere to…

Primarily, it aims to enhance the game’s client and server stability, and make some minor tweaks to the user interface. Additionally, it will better align text in certain areas due to improved localization. Furthermore, several minor bugs, particularly those related to multiplayer features such as Player versus Player (PvP), have been squashed.
