In this delightful tale of adventure, a little capybara and their cunning crow friend find themselves exploring an unknown island – a blend reminiscent of the enchanting worlds seen in ‘Spirited Away’ and ‘Untitled Goose Game’.

In a playful twist of events, the game titled “Capy Castaway” will transport you into an enchanting journey alongside a quirky capybara and a cunning crow. As they embark on their quest to return home, immerse yourself in a lively realm teeming with mystery, obstacles, and endearing friendships at every corner.

A baby capybara washes up on a strange island when its zoo habitat floods; it forms an alliance with a daring crow to unravel the growing secret behind the mysterious happenings.

Without their awareness, the flooding had introduced something beyond just Capy, potentially endangering the harmony between the physical and spiritual realms. They need to collaborate, leveraging their combined abilities, to tackle puzzles, aid others, and navigate back home, all while uncovering what ‘home’ truly means for each of them.

Characters

  • Capy – Capy is a silent, impressionable but friendly capybara pup who is trying to find their way home. Curious in nature, Capy can explore by digging, pushing, and sniffing out secrets.
  • Crow – Crow is a resourceful fledgling with a loud mouth, a sharp eye, and a few secrets of their own. They’re 90 percent beak and 10 percent shriek. Beyond acting as Capy’s voice, Crow can grab far-away objects and carry Capy over short distances.

The game titled “Capy Castaway” is planned for launch on various console platforms and PC, accessible through Steam. At this moment, a specific release date has not been disclosed.
