At the Future Game Show Summer Showcase 2025, developer Pasquale Scionti demonstrated a fresh trailer for his upcoming survival horror game titled “Whispers in the Fog.” The sneak peek primarily aims to convey an overall atmosphere, as seen in the video below.
In the trailer’s description, it appears that Whispers in the Fog‘s main gameplay focuses on unraveling the mystery of your surroundings. You’ll find yourself starting in a forest with no knowledge of your location and limited resources to help you navigate.
In addition to a flashlight, the player’s navigation through the game will primarily depend on cryptic murmurs echoing from the surrounding woods, which could either aid or complicate their efforts to survive. The core objective in the game titled “Whispers in the Fog” is to make your way back home, wherever it may be.
Whispers in the Fog is coming to PC, and is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
