In simple terms, the city-building series “Anno” by Ubisoft is about to launch its primary sequel soon, and during the recent PC Gaming Showcase, Ubisoft provided a sneak peek of this upcoming game, as well as announcing an official release date.
Approximately a year ago, it was announced that Anno 117: Pax Romana would transport players to the Roman Empire, where they assume the role of a Governor responsible for the cultural and economic development of an empire. Players must decide between two paths: either becoming a rebel or a loyalist, each offering distinctive gameplay dynamics and possibilities. Long-time Anno enthusiasts will recognize many familiar mechanics at work, but Ubisoft is also promising refinements and enhancements as seen in every new release. For a sneak peek at the game’s offerings, check out the launch trailer below.
117 AD marks the arrival of “Pax Romana” on November 17th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Keep an eye out as we unveil more information about this game prior to its launch.
