Unveiling the Secrets of “P’s Lies of Pinocchio: Overture” DLC – A Guide to Locating the Black Rabbit Hole Keys and the Secret Doors They Unlock!
In this guide, we will explore the hidden treasures that await you in the DLC expansion for the popular soulslike game inspired by Pinocchio, “Lies of P: Overture”. Here, players can unlock numerous secrets, earning various rewards such as new costumes, equipment, and collectibles to complete your adventure. This guide will show you where to find each Black Rabbit Hole Key and how to locate the secret doors that open with them!
Lies Of P: Overture – All Black Rabbit Hole Key & Secret Door Locations
Prior to delving into the real search, you might as well purchase the first “Black Rabbit Hole Key” from the NPC merchant stationed in the Carnival Garden district. He’s usually found near a fountain and is quite noticeable, so grab it for more than a thousand of your accumulated coins, and then proceed onwards.
After purchasing the key from the vendor, proceed to the doorway with the distinctive red and white stripes (located on your left). Leave through it and continue moving forward until you spot the “Clown Knock-Down” tent.
Venturing behind the tent, I stumbled upon my very first hidden lair of the elusive Black Rabbit. With my newfound key, I managed to unlock it and stepped inside to discover a safe brimming with loot:
- The Eccentric’s Mask
- Piercing Death’s Hunting Apparel
First, let’s use the newly obtained items, which will instantly earn you another Black Rabbit Hole Key, along with some notes for your perusal if desired. Upon obtaining this key, there are no more tasks here, so transport yourself back to the Eventide Hotel Krat.
Make your way up the stairs completely and then exit into the enchanting Flower Garden. That’s where you’ll discover another one of these hidden lairs of Black Rabbits. Inside, you will come across another secure box, as expected, containing more items that you can don, here they are:
1. The Resplendent Cloak of Whispers
2. The Agile Boots of Leaping Shadows
3. The Steadfast Helmet of Unwavering Courage
4. The Luminous Gauntlets of Arcane Mastery
5. The Stalwart Shield of Enduring Protection
- The Youngest’s Mask
- Permeating Death’s Hunting Apparel
Unfortunately, these items won’t provide you with a complimentary key as the last set did. Once you’ve finished here, navigate your way to the “Security Area” stargazer in chapter two when it’s time to move on.
Navigate through all the metallic walkways, steering clear of steam and vanquishing any adversary you encounter. Toward the base, you’ll spot the distinctively vibrant and blue Black Rabbit Hole Key lying on the ground, a sight you won’t be able to overlook due to its stark contrast with the surroundings.
To reach the following location called the “Black Rabbit Hideout”, you’ll need to navigate to another part of the same chapter. You can quickly teleport to the “Zelator Underground Facility”. Once there, simply climb the stairs located right behind the stargazer straight ahead.
Walk along the runway until you hit the corner, where you’ll stumble upon another lockable entrance specifically for your new Black Rabbit Hole Key. Inside, what might seem unbelievable to you, there’s a safe once more. Contained within it are several objects.
Follow the catwalk to the corner, where you’ll find another locked door for your Black Rabbit Hole Key. Inside, you’ll discover yet another safe with some items inside.
- The Eldest’s Gas Mask
- Black Death’s Protective Apparel
Ultimately, the fourth and final crucial item is located straight ahead after traversing and crossing the catwalk within the Pistris Harbor region. Simply walk through this area, and you’ll encounter the last Black Rabbit Hole Key emitting a bright, vibrant blue glow conspicuously on the ground. It would be challenging to overlook it unless one intentionally ignores it.
To locate the door that fits your final key, make your way to the summit of the Krat Lighthouse. After that, descend through the opening leading to a lower balcony. There, you’ll discover a staircase or set of steps that you can utilize to go down.
A new, tall ladder awaits for you to climb down from. Following this second ladder, you’ll discover the secret hideout of the Black Rabbit, located on the wall to your left. You’re already familiar with what lies within, so simply enter and ransack the safe to claim your rewards – the specified items.

After completing your task, congratulations! You’ve successfully accessed all the secret locations and obtained every outfit hidden within them. As for the keys, they don’t appear to be linked with any achievements, but the collectibles are certainly desirable if you enjoy flaunting a stylish look!
