See Michelle & Barack Obama’s Off-Duty Family Portrait With Daughters

Michelle Obama and Barack Obama will always put family first.

In celebration of their youngest daughter’s birthday on June 10 (which was on the 10th of June), the previous first family posted a unique snapshot from their vacation featuring daughters Malia Obama, aged 27, and Sasha Obama, aged 24.

In this photo, the group of four, including Michelle and her daughters, were dressed comfortably in relaxed outfits. Michelle and her daughters wore flowing dresses, while the former president opted for a casual polo shirt and pants. They all appeared joyful as they struck a pose together against a backdrop of a cliff face.

Michelle labeled a family photo on Instagram as, “Happy Birthday to my dear Sasha!” She expressed astonishment at how swiftly time passes and shared her pride in the remarkable woman Sasha has grown into. Her affection for Sasha remains constant.

Over the course of 32 years, her husband expressed to Sasha that it had been a genuine blessing to witness her transformation into the remarkable woman she’s become.

He added in a post of his own, “I’ll always be proud of you and will always be here for you.”

Without a doubt, since they left the White House in 2017, their children have each chosen unique paths for themselves. For instance, Malia and Sasha both completed their college education, with Malia, the eldest, venturing into the world of screenwriting as her career.

Michelle revealed during the June 3rd episode of the Sibling Revelry podcast that Malia, initially known for her work in film, chose to leave out her last name for her first project. We joked, “They’ll still recognize it’s you, Malia,” but we understand and appreciate her desire to carve her own path independently.

The ex-first lady went on saying, “It matters to my children that they feel they’ve genuinely accomplished what they have in life. They dislike it when others presume they haven’t worked hard and are simply given opportunities. They are particularly attuned to such assumptions.

But, according to Michelle, her daughters have always marched to the beat of their own drums.

She pointed out that they were not interested in being mini-monarchs at the White House. Instead, they desired to challenge norms, seek opportunities, and explore various experiences beyond their immediate surroundings.
