Following the disclosure of 4.6 million lifetime sales, Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 has hit another record: More than five million copies have now been sold. This fighting game was released in June 2023 on Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC and has consistently been one of the most praised choices in its category.
In Street Fighter 6, there are several fresh elements incorporated into the game’s traditional formula. The Drive system introduces an extra competitive dimension to battles, and World Tour mode provides a third-person narrative experience through a customizable character who can learn from different fighters as mentors. Additionally, the Battle Hub functions like a virtual arcade, allowing players to engage in online combat using their preferred characters or avatars.
The latest version of Street Fighter, titled Street Fighter 6, has just been released for the Nintendo Switch 2, offering all prior content as well as a new character DLC named Elena. Rest assured that more updates are on the horizon, with the Year 3 Character Pass having been unveiled recently. This pass will start rolling out with Sagat this summer, followed by C. Viper in autumn, Alex in early 2026, and Ingrid in the spring of 2026.
The sixth installment of Street Fighter has surpassed 5 million sales, marking a fantastic milestone as we commemorate our second anniversary! ππ
