The popular anime series “Isekai Quartet” has revealed that it will return for another season, with one of the most highly-anticipated Isekai anime of this generation joining its lineup. This series is known for being one of the most entertaining anime projects currently available. Kadokawa Corporation combined four of their biggest Isekai light novel adaptations into a single universe under the title “Isekai Quartet”. The universes of “Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!”, “Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-“, “Saga of Tanya the Evil”, and “Overlord” are all merged together, with their extended casts joining forces in a unique, cute style.
In its second run, the series broadened its scope beyond just the initial four seasons, introducing characters from both “The Rising of The Shield Hero” and “The Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered But Overly Cautious.” With the third season of “Isekai Quartet” now officially confirmed, it’s been revealed that the upcoming Isekai anime to join the lineup will be “The Eminence in Shadow.” Take a peek at the new poster for “Isekai Quartet” Season 3 below.
What to Know for Isekai Quartet Season 3
The official website has revealed that Season 3 of “Isekai Quartet” is on its way, though a specific release date or timeframe remains undisclosed at this point in time. Minoru Ashina, who has been involved with the series previously, will take on directing and scriptwriting duties for Studio Puyukai. Character design will be handled by Minoru Takehara, who will also serve as the chief animation director, while Ruka Kawada will compose the music. The cast members from the previous two seasons and the feature film have been announced to return, with some of them set to perform roles in multiple franchises.
This list features actors like Yusuke Kobayashi who voices Subaru from “Re:Zero” and Warren Grantz from “Saga of Tanya the Evil”, Satoshi Hino as Ains in “Overlord”, Jun Fukushima as Kazuma in “Konosuba”, Aoi Yuki as Tanya in “Saga of Tanya the Evil”, Kaito Ishikawa as Naofumi Iwatani in “The Rising of the Shield Hero”, Rie Takahashi as Emilia in “Re:Zero” and Megumin in “Konosuba”, Yumi Hara as Albedo in “Overlord”, Sora Amamiya as Aqua in “Konosuba”, Saori Hayami as Visha in “Saga of Tanya the Evil”, and Asami Seto as Raphtalia in “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. For the upcoming season, Seto will also voice Alpha and Delta from “The Eminence in Shadow”, while Seiichiro Yamashita joins the cast as Shadow (Cid Kagenou).
