The much-loved series ‘My Adventures with Superman‘ is making a comeback for a special marathon, coinciding with the release of James Gunn’s new Superman from DC Studios. This show, which was one of the most exciting productions to emerge from Warner Bros. Animation and Adult Swim, offered unique anime-inspired interpretations of characters like Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and many others, set in a brand new Metropolis. The series chronicles Clark’s journey into becoming Superman, and with its next season on the horizon, it’s paving the way for an expansive new DC animated universe.
As I stand by, there’s more than one fresh Superman tale brewing! The highly-anticipated Superman movie directed by James Gunn for DC Studios is set to grace the silver screen on July 11th. To mark this grand premiere and make the July 4th weekend even more spectacular, Adult Swim has made an exciting announcement via their official Facebook page. They’ve planned a marathon of Season 2 episodes from “My Adventures with Superman,” taking over from midnight to 5:00AM on July 5th.
What’s Next for My Adventures with Superman?
The third season of “My Adventures with Superman” animated series is being developed, however, no release date or episode window has been announced yet at the time of this writing. This latest installment has been popular among Adult Swim viewers so far, and the conclusion of the second season saw the full debut of Clark’s cousin Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl. She is just one of several new DC Comics superheroes hinted to appear in this expanding universe. Moreover, there are plans for a significant expansion of this growing universe as well.
DC Studios has officially started work on a fresh animated series titled “My Journeys with Green Lantern” with Jake Wyatt, producer of “My Journeys with Superman“, serving as executive producer and Stephanie Gonzaga as co-producer. This upcoming show will follow the same storyline as “My Journeys with Superman,”, suggesting that a larger DC universe is being developed, with many of the same creative and artistic teams from one project to another. Fans are advised to closely watch this new series to see how it could expand the universe even further.

Jake Wyatt, the executive producer, excitedly announced to fans that a brand new show is on the horizon: “My New Adventures with Green Lantern”!
