Gino D’Acampo plans to make a comeback on television, as he intends to shoot a travel documentary this year.

Back in the year 2025, allegations arose against D’Acampo for behaving in a manner that was both uncomfortable and overbearing, with this behavior lasting over a span of twelve years.

D’Acampo strongly refuted the allegations, sharing with ITV News: “I wouldn’t do something that might hurt or discomfort anyone. That’s just not my character. The account presented to me doesn’t resonate. I don’t acknowledge the sequence of events as described.

My goal is to give everyone a glimpse into this country by discovering the best restaurants, traditional recipes, and scenic spots. I plan to interact with locals, learn about their culinary practices, and understand how they prepared food 200 years ago.

In that very same conversation, D’Acampo mentioned his upcoming debut as an actor, taking on a role within a yet-to-be-revealed television show.

The character is portrayed as an Italian-American mechanic who frequently finds himself on the wrong side of the law, either with the police or the legal system. However, he eventually transitions into a role that assists the main character in the series.

“This is acting now, I’m not becoming a real mechanic, I’m useless at stuff like that.”
