Over the past week, we compiled an extensive list highlighting the PS5 games we can’t wait to play in the second part of this year. However, instead of relying solely on our team’s opinions, we invited you to share your preferences by taking a poll and voting for the titles that excite you the most.
More than 6,000 votes were collected from 70 forthcoming PlayStation 5 games, resulting in a particularly comprehensive survey. Now, we can finally reveal the findings.
These are the top 20 most anticipated PS5 games for the rest of 2025, according to you…
20 titles with the highest number of votes, sorted in descending order:
1. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles – 157 votes (3%)

3. Crimson Desert – 212 votes (4%)
4. Gears of War: Reloaded – 189 votes (3%)
5. Cronos: The New Dawn – 170 votes (3%)
6. Lost Soul Aside – 91 votes (2%)
7. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance – 93 votes (2%)

15. Sword of the Sea, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, Dying Light: The Beast – 81 votes (1%)
16. WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, or 88 votes (1%)
17. Dying Light: The Beast, Lost Soul Aside – 84 votes (1%)
18. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, Sword of the Sea – 81 votes (1%)
19. Sword of the Sea, or 81 votes (1%)
20. The Wolf Among Us 2, or 81 votes (1%)
5. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – 353 votes (6%)
Often regarded as one of the top-tier games in the Metal Gear series, Snake Eater’s comeback is just around the corner, approximately a couple of months away. Despite Hideo Kojima not being involved in this remake, Konami and Virtuos are making a concerted effort to stay faithful to the original concept, with only some fresh multiplayer features added. It seems that adhering closely to the original vision is definitely the right choice.
It’s no wonder Delta ranks so highly in this list; the potency of nostalgia can’t be overstated, particularly when the initial launch was so well-loved.
4. Mafia: The Old Country – 409 votes (7%)
Instead of being encumbered with the open-world chores that overwhelmed Mafia 3, Mafia: The Old Country is intended to be a narrative-focused masterpiece. By narrowing its focus, this eagerly anticipated sequel (which, in a way, serves as a prequel) aims to deliver a top-notch single-player experience, reinforced by powerful storytelling and striking set pieces.
So far, if the game maintains its quality, it could be a strong contender for Game of the Year for many, given that Hangar 13 has shown promise in delivering an engaging storyline.
3. Silent Hill F – 449 votes (8%)
The rejuvenation of Silent Hill is well underway, and Silent Hill F is heavily emphasizing an authentic sense of fear. Although the extent of this possibly chilling adventure remains unclear, what’s been shown so far indicates a meticulously crafted, traditional survival horror experience.
Amazingly, even I wouldn’t have predicted that not just one, but two games from Konami would end up on this top five list! It’s hard to believe, looking back a few years, that someone would say the once-criticized Japanese publisher was about to enter a new golden era. It seems crazy, but we’re glad it’s happening.
2. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach – 504 votes (8%)
In about a week, you won’t need to wait much longer for it! Arriving on PS5, Death Stranding 2 aims to build upon all the aspects where its precursor excelled, including the peculiarity of its characters and the construction of its unique world.
It’s challenging to imagine a scenario where this sequel doesn’t become another masterpiece by Kojima. Given that the engine, core mechanics, and narrative style were masterfully executed in the original game, we are confident that On the Beach will leave us astonished with its unexpected twists and jaw-dropping surprises.
1. Ghost of Yotei – 961 votes (16%)
It wasn’t unexpected that Ghost of Yotei would lead the pack in this list; however, we underestimated its dominance. Nearly doubling the popularity of Death Stranding 2 in second place, this upcoming PS5 exclusive garnered significantly more votes than a large number of games on our poll put together.
We really enjoy Ghost of Tsushima, and it’s clear that a sequel could enhance Jin Sakai’s adventure even further. Enhanced combat systems, a livelier, interactive open world, and a complex narrative are areas where improvement could be made… Yotei promises to be a home run for Sucker Punch.
What are your thoughts on this article’s list? Does it include all the PS5 games you were looking forward to, or did some get left out? If so, feel free to express any disagreements with others’ preferences in the comments section below.
