Meghan Markle wants to live in her truth.

Reflecting back, the Duchess of Sussex pondered over the significant transformations that have occurred in her life since her days as an actress on the television series ‘Suits’, a role she played many years prior to her connection with Prince Harry.

In a sneak peek for her June 17 interview on the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast, as published by Vanity Fair, Emma Grede notes to Meghan that the public story about her has changed significantly since she began dating the Duke of Sussex. In response, Meghan, the star of With Love, Meghan, concurs.

“It is, Emma!” she said with a big smile. “It is very different.”

If the CEO of Good American queries Meghan about what changes she might make in her storyline if given a chance to start over, the 43-year-old was quick to respond.

“Yes,” she says. “I would ask people to tell the truth.”

The remaining part of the episode is set to showcase Meghan, mother of Archie (age 5) and Lilibet (age 3), alongside Harry, discussing the beginnings of her brand As Ever, her popular raspberry preserves, as well as the trials faced when establishing a startup company, particularly when strategic changes attract media attention, according to Vanity Fair.

Meghan made a seldom-occurring appearance on a podcast following Brooke Shields’ interview on the same platform, where Shields had expressed criticism towards Meghan, who is a mom of two. Notably, the specific episode has since been taken down discreetly.

Earlier this month, I had the privilege of being a guest on India Hicks’ podcast, “An Unexpected Journey,” which was hosted by none other than King Charles III’s goddaughter. During our captivating conversation, Brooke reportedly shared an intriguing detail from a panel we both attended at SXSW in March 2024. She described Meghan as being “too precious” on that particular occasion.

Brooke remembered recounting a story about her past, stating that at age 11 she watched a commercial implying washing dishes was only for women. She said, ‘I didn’t think it was fair that only women were expected to wash dishes. So, I wrote a letter to the company.’ This is according to The Independent.

Later on, Brooke mentioned that the former Suits star repeatedly claimed she was eleven years old. In an effort to liven up the atmosphere and prevent the audience from losing focus, she decided to chime in.
