TikToker Michael Armstrong Shares Stillbirth of Son

The Armstrong family is mourning a tragedy.

Michael Armstrong, a popular TikToker, along with his wife Emma Armstrong, openly discussed the premature birth of their son, Zen Diamond Love, who was born at 37 weeks, approximately three weeks prior to Emma’s original due date.

Michael posted on Instagram that his wife awoke and sensed her abdomen wasn’t moving as usual on June 14. Intuitively, she knew something was amiss. A few hours later, we underwent an ultrasound, and the doctors found no sign of a heartbeat.

In a touching post, the video producer famous for her past life regression content disclosed that Emma endured 37 hours of labor before delivering their stillborn baby boy on May 23rd.

He clarified that there appeared to be no indication of what might have gone wrong. His ultrasound, physical examination, and placenta all seemed healthy. Unfortunately, as medical professionals often find out, in one-third of cases like these, a cause remains undiscovered.

Michael shared that him and Emma, who got married in April 2024, had chosen to wait discovering their baby’s gender. So, amidst the sorrow, it turned out to be a lovely surprise when they welcomed their adorable, tiny baby boy into their lives.

Instead, he continued to extol the virtues of his wife, highlighting how she had birthed their child with remarkable poise and affection. Every evening and morning, she would croon tender lullabies to him while they were both in bed.

He went on, “She was the one who gave birth to him, doing so with profound dedication. Through this ordeal of heartache and bodily suffering, she stands resolute. She experiences every bit of it deeply. Her strength and courage leave me in awe.

For Emma, she is learning to accept this new reality.

She confided that I’m sure I’ve spent countless hours daily envisioning all the activities I’d undertake with my child and the parent I’d become,” she revealed. “We had been readying ourselves for the most joyful day of our lives, but instead, we encountered our darkest moment.

She went on to say, “I’m not sharing a message about some optimistic perspective or divine purpose, though I’ve felt a sense of divine presence and love as if I were grasping for air when drowning. Instead, I’m expressing my surprise. For anyone who has ever had the world taken away from them suddenly. For any mother who has lost her child, this moment of shock, denial, bewilderment, longing, love, and the crushing pain of such a loss all find their place in this conversation.

For the couple, Father’s Day looked heartbreakingly different than what they had imagined.
