All aboard Ozzy Osbourne’s immortal train.
Certainly, the lead vocalist of Black Sabbath is continuing his impact in an innovative manner: By allowing his most devoted fans to inherit his rock ‘n’ roll DNA.
76-year-old teamed up with Liquid Death to sell 10 cans of empty iced tea, creatively named Infinite Ozzy, which he had consumed. Each can is priced at $450, and if having his DNA on the can’s rim isn’t the ultimate memento, these ultra-limited items are additionally crushed and personally signed by Ozzy. These unique products were made available on their official website on June 17.
To prevent these cans from gathering dust, the Lord of Darkness is eager for this partnership not to remain untouched on storage shelves.
In the future, when technology and federal regulations allow, fans may have the opportunity to clone Ozzy using this DNA, potentially keeping him around for many years to come,” Liquid Death shared in their recent advertisement. “Envision a world where you could revive ’80s Ozzy: He could mow your lawn, entertain at children’s parties—essentially do anything you desire.
Back in June, it wasn’t a new thing for Ozzy to work with this particular brand, since he had already revealed their Death Dust hydration boost at that time.
Although the product has been sold out currently, fans still have a chance to see his talent. In reality, the singer of “Sweet Leaf”, who revealed his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2020, will join his old bandmates, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, for their final performance at the Back to the Beginning festival in England on July 5.
Sharon Osbourne initially disclosed the performance in February, stating that the legendary rock figure is “doing exceptionally well” as he prepares for the reunion.
She shared with the BBC that he was extremely eager about reuniting with his pals again, including all of them, due to the upcoming Birmingham event. Everyone seems thrilled about it. “Ozzy hadn’t been given the opportunity to bid farewell to his friends and fans,” she explained. “He feels this is his final goodbye.
