Trailer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 17 Released

Since the airing of Season 14 of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” in 2019, fans have been eagerly waiting for more episodes, with two-year gaps between seasons. The season finale, “Waiting for Big Mo,” hinted at the gang possibly losing interest in making the show, but they confirmed in the final moments that Paddy’s Pub is still a hub for their self-centered, crude antics. In Season 15, half of the episodes took place in Ireland, while Season 16 featured guest appearances by Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and their Dos Hombres Mezcal, satirizing celebrities endorsing their own branded alcohol, such as Four Walls Whiskey, owned by characters from “It’s Always Sunny.

Essentially, It’s Clear That Always Sunny continues to be innovative, funny, and intelligent. We now anticipate how they’ll maintain this creative momentum, as a sneak peek of the upcoming Season 17 has been made available online.

In Season 17, “The Gang Clashes with Abbott Elementary” marks the continuation of a crossover event between these shows. The initial part of this crossover, titled “Volunteers” on Abbott, was broadcast in January. While it certainly brought laughter, it only hinted at the full extent of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s signature dark comedy. Now, we get to witness how the characters from Abbott Elementary handle themselves when they find themselves in the depths of It’s Always Sunny’s notorious depravity.

What additional events can we expect for Charlie Kelly, Ronald McDonald, and the Reynolds siblings (Frank, Dee, and Dennis)? One of the standout episodes in the Season 17 preview features Frank as the central figure on a dating show titled “The Golden Bachelor“. However, it’s important to note that “love” might not be the accurate term for what Frank is actually pursuing, given his immediate interest in a woman who goes by the nickname “Ck Chewa”.

Additionally, there are some other notable instances that aren’t just from episodes about Abbott Elementary or The Bachelor. In one instance, Charlie undergoes a significant transformation as he shaves off all his facial hair, giving him an entirely new appearance. Moreover, in another scene, Dennis and Mac can be seen dressed up as paramedics, with Mac administering a hard punch to a man who’s choking.

Rickety Cricket returns once more, sporting a new look with dreadlocks! Last seen in Season 16’s “The Gang Gets Cursed,” where he accompanied Mac to meet MLB second baseman Chase Utley for the first time. Among other familiar faces are the Waitress and Uncle Jack.

It appears that Paddy’s is set to host a well-attended slapping contest, where Dee plans to participate. Now let’s talk about Dee, at some point she dangled from the back of a car much like Marty McFly in Back to the Future, though if you recall, Marty had a flashy shoulder injury at that time as well.
