According to SEGA’s recent management update, we can expect the return of Persona 4 and a new project by the Yakuza team, titled Stranger Than Heaven, to be launched some time beyond April 2026.
The publisher has confirmed that the release dates for the titles fall within or extend beyond their fiscal year 2027, spanning from April 1st, 2026 to March 31st, 2027. Keep in mind that “after” in this context implies there’s a possibility they might be released even later than March 2027.
The announcement of Persona 4 Revival came following numerous internet whispers, which circulated early video clips showing the main character strolling around the town of Inaba. This footage was labeled as “early development material,” and the updated timeline for its release aligns well with this description.
Meanwhile, Stranger Than Heaven is a fresh project by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, appearing to lean towards a detective genre similar to Judgment. However, it won’t be available on PlayStation 5 before April 2026 at the latest.
