Nick Cannon Forgets 2 Kids’ Names While Sharing If He’ll Have More

Nick Cannon may want to mask this blunder.

When queried about reciting the names of all twelve children, the host of The Masked Singer found himself momentarily at a loss, having forgotten a few of their names offhand.

On the June 19 edition of Bobbi Althoff’s The Really Good Podcast, I, a frequent finder myself in tricky situations, expressed as follows: “Well, here’s the deal. I’m no stranger to these folks, but let me clarify…

Nick Cannon, famous for his role on Wild ‘N Out, went ahead to mention ten of his children. Among them are Moroccan and Monroe, aged 14, with his ex-partner Mariah Carey; Golden, Powerful, and Rise, ages 8, 4, and 2 respectively, who he has with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion, age 4, born to Abby De La Rosa and him; Legendary, 2, from his relationship with Bre Tiesi; Onyx, also 2, with LaNisha Cole; and finally, the late Zen who passed away in 2021 at 5 months old due to brain cancer, shared with Alyssa Scott.

However, the 44-year-old fell short of all 12, admitting, “I’m missing two.”

Nick didn’t take along his two youngest daughters – a 2-year-old named Beautiful whom he has with Abby, and another 2-year-old called Halo that he has with Alyssa.

What’s the reason behind the musician having so many children? He clarified that it stems from his self-perception.

Nick confessed, “I often feel like I’m a king-like figure,” he said. “You see, among many black men, it’s not uncommon to greet each other as ‘king’. In my case, I sometimes feel I embody that role.

Nick expressed, “Although I feel this way, I’ve said, ‘I believe I’ve had my last children,’ yet admitted, ‘I’m unsure about the plans the divine and cosmos may hold for me.’

After an incident on stage, Alyssa subtly posted a video of Nick’s memory lapse on her Instagram Story. The following day, she reposted a quote that said, “To my daughter…I hope you stay loud,” which could be a reference to the actor mistakenly forgetting their child’s name, similar to the character in Drumline.

Prior to him failing to mention Halo’s name, Alyssa confronted Nick for not having seen their daughter in over a month. This was shortly after he spoke about his 12 children during a popular podcast interview.

As an overly enthusiastic admirer, I’ve got to say, even though Nick didn’t directly address Alyssa’s accusations in public, he’s been vocal about the challenge of connecting deeply with all his kids at once. He’s emphasized that it seems to work out better for them when he spends individual time with each child. In his own words, “It’s more effective to engage one-on-one because I truly believe that only I would be the one who benefits from having everyone together in the same space.

In 2023, he shared with People that he considers qualitative experiences as offering each person a unique and individualized encounter. He admitted his affection for delving into their lives, attending their sports events or setting aside personal time during holidays for them. Consequently, he is comfortable with being flexible.

Nick stated, “As we all age and I slow down a tad, I’m confident that everyone will eventually congregate at one spot with me.
