Dogs will always be Sean Lowe‘s best friends.
In an exclusive interview with TopMob News, the Bachelor expressed his deep affection for dogs, three months following two brutal attacks by his family pet Moose. He’s always been a dog enthusiast and recalls his grandfather saying, “A man without a dog is not a wealthy man.” This sentiment resonates deeply with him, as he strongly agrees with its truth.
They were overjoyed when they brought Moose into their home in the Dallas area, which they share with Samuel (age 8), Isaiah (age 7), and Mia (age 5), feeling that they had found a precious gem in him, alongside their wife Catherine Giudici.
Sean observed, “By all reports, he appeared to be an exceptional dog.” He got along well with children and showed a lot of affection. However, an incident in March, where the rescue dog attacked him in two separate instances, causing deep wounds that required stitches, seemed as though it had been taken from a horror movie.
One particularly nerve-wracking moment for the ex-reality TV personality arose as he found himself needing to clarify why they were choosing to find a new home for their beloved pet.
Sean admitted that the children adored Moose, who slept with them every night. As a previous linebacker for Kansas State, he gathered his kids and explained, “Moose has an issue in his mind, and sadly, such incidents occur. Therefore, it’s not safe because Daddy can’t guarantee that he won’t act up like this again.
But despite the scary incident, his kids are still there to make other four-legged friends.
Sean explained that they dealt with the situation admirably. His main concern was that since they saw a part of the second time his dog attacked him, they might develop a fear of dogs. However, he’s relieved to say that this hasn’t happened. In fact, it hasn’t at all.
In fact, his crew will still try to steal their friends’ dogs for a sec.
Whenever Sean is outdoors with his children, he always makes an effort to engage with neighbors’ pets: “Let’s pause and pet Poppy,” or whichever dog it may be, he says. The 41-year-old shared this habit, “I simply want to maintain the message that dogs are our companions.
Which is why he had some trepidation about telling fans what had happened.
Sean explained, “Since a large part of my life is open for all to see, I expected the question, ‘Where’s Moose?’ would come up. So, I decided to address it proactively.
But their stories helped him find the silver lining of the situation.
Sean firmly believes that we have a deep affection for dogs, recognizing them as man’s best friend and strongly promoting their adoption. However, there is a potential risk involved. I believe it’s crucial for parents to be aware of this and instruct their children on how to interact safely around dogs.
So would you accept this bit of advice?
Sean advises children to ask for permission before petting a dog and to be mindful not to put their hands in the dog’s face as many dogs may find it uncomfortable. Instead, he suggests asking the owner questions such as “May I pet your dog? Is he friendly? How should I approach him?” as this is crucial when interacting with dogs.
But their stories helped him find the silver lining of the situation.
As a dog enthusiast like no other, I can’t help but express my profound affection – we’re crazy about canines! Dogs are not just pets; they’re man’s most loyal companion. I’m a firm believer in the beauty of adoption for these wonderful creatures. However, it’s crucial to acknowledge the potential risks that come with their presence. Therefore, I strongly encourage all parents to educate themselves on this matter and teach their children how to interact safely around dogs.
So would you accept this bit of advice?
Sean advises children to remember not to approach or touch dogs without asking for permission first, as many dogs are uncomfortable with such interactions. He suggests asking the dog’s owner questions like “May I pet your dog? Is he friendly? How should I interact with him?” to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
While he shares advice on parenting with roses, he also wants to bring up an old piece of advice he got when he first became a father.
He remarked, “This might sound overused,” he admitted, “but truly savor each phase. From the instant you cradle your newborn in the hospital, to the initial nerve-wracking car journey home, to those sleepless nights gently rocking them, to their first words, their first steps – it’s all so extraordinarily precious.
Although he admitted he might end up as one of those older individuals who advise young people, “It goes by quickly—enjoy it,” it truly does go by swiftly. He was aware of moments when he hurried through his tasks just to rest himself, but if he could speak to his past self, he’d urge him to cherish every mundane bath and diaper change.
Sean emphasized that those early years of parenting were quite challenging, yet he reminded everyone they’re merely brief chapters in one’s life. Once these moments pass, they can never be reclaimed.
They are steadfastly adhering to their promise from their “Bachelor” days, aiming to build a house filled with love and joy, just like they did back then. Interestingly, it’s not just them among the franchise stars who feel everything is blossoming beautifully. Let’s take a peek at who else continues to see an eternal bond between them.
Status: Separated
Grant Ellis initially connected with 25 possible romantic prospects on his first night in the Bachelor mansion, but ultimately, Juliana Pasquarosa was the one who received his final rose. Regrettably, this couple ended their relationship just under three months after their proposal aired on television.
Grant posted on his Instagram Story on June 13 that he found writing this difficult but felt it was important to be truthful. He and Juliana have chosen to part ways in their relationship. Despite our best efforts and pouring a great deal of affection into one another, after lengthy discussions, we’ve realized that we are not ideally suited for each other in the long run.

After starring in the first-ever season of “The Golden Bachelor” and ending her stint on Gerry Turner’s season prematurely, Joan Vassos later became the leading lady on the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelorette.” It was during this show that she crossed paths with and became engaged to contestant Chock Chapple.
Joan expressed during the final episode of “The Golden Bachelorette” in November 2024 that despite all the challenges life has presented, there’s always hope. As she stood there, in this extraordinary setting in Bora Bora, she revealed her deep feelings for Chock. She confessed, “I’ve waited for this moment in this breathtaking location to tell you that I love you. I yearn to start each day with you and cherish the moments before sleep as I kiss you goodnight.
Reflecting back on the thrilling season finale of “The Bachelorette” Season 21, I had high hopes for the budding romance between the charismatic Jenn Tran and her final pick, Devin Strader. However, in an emotional interview during the “After the Final Rose” special that aired in September 2024, Jenn shared a heartbreaking truth: Devin unexpectedly pulled away as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.
During a September 3rd broadcast, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer that the man she was involved with had been expressing passionate declarations of affection one day, only to disappear and reject any claims of love the next. She added that all the pledges he had made to her, as well as the affection he had expressed, seemed to vanish without a trace.
The events became more intense as Devin decided to post a 13-minute video on Instagram, explaining his perspective and admitting fault (accountability), while also providing reasons behind his decision to end the relationship during a 15-minute telephone conversation.
Instead of claiming Jenn ended their conversation in August by saying he’d dumped her, he asserted that Jenn kept pressing him about what was wrong, as he struggled to tell her in person that their relationship had ended.
He admitted that he was unsure about any other options, implying that he had been holding back, waiting for the right moment to speak with her face-to-face. Essentially, she made him take action by putting pressure on him.
Following this, Jenn gracefully made her way towards “Dancing With the Stars” and deep into the affections of her partner Sasha Farber. Despite being eliminated in October 2024, they continued to dance together until parting ways in 2025.

Prior to Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo revealing their relationship during the finale of Bachelor in Paradise’s 8th season, Victoria Fuller had called off her engagement with Johnny DePhillipo.
Marital Status: Previously Married (Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist were married)
Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got engaged on the finale of the first season of Golden Bachelor in November 2023, and they officially got married during a televised ceremony in January 2024.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
During their interview on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry stated, “Theresa and I have shared many deep conversations and examined our circumstances, including our living arrangements. As a result, we both believe that it’s likely the right moment for us to part ways and end our marriage.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.
Come April 2025, Gerry shared during the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he had found someone special and things were progressing positively.

After dating 32 potential partners, tennis pro Joey Graziadei has found his soulmate in project manager Kelsey Anderson. In the finale of March 2024, he declared his love for her by saying, “I can’t wait any longer to tell you that I love you.” On bended knee, he proposed, expressing, “There is something about you. Although underwater welder John Henry Spurlock and nurse Kat Izzo didn’t establish a connection until halfway through season nine of “Bachelor in Paradise”, they were ready to take the plunge. “I’m going to attempt something slightly unconventional,” he said, presenting an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond. “Today I’m following my heart. My heart tells me that you are incredible, you are everything I’ve been searching for.”
However, a few days after the season finale, they announced their separation. “Although our paths are diverging due to our career aspirations not coinciding,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post, “we are thankful for the love and encouragement we’ve received from our families, friends, and Bachelor Nation.
In the end, Eliza Isichei (one of Clayton Echard’s former partners) agreed to Aaron Bryant’s proposal at a seaside location, despite her initial apprehensions about the event. Moved by Aaron’s gesture of contacting her mother for approval, she expressed, “I knew I couldn’t predict what I would say next.”
The final scenes hinted that Eliza and her ex, Charity (a marketing manager), had faced challenges following their return from Mexico. A few days later, they made an announcement confirming the termination of their engagement.
“It was a complex set of feelings watching everything play out,” he shared on Instagram in December 2023. “We are parting ways amicably, with only goodwill and mutual respect towards each other.

Nurse Kylee Russell was disappointed when boyfriend Aven Jones refused to propose – a move he had apparently been planning during his time on The Bachelorette with Rachel Recchia. However, she eventually agreed to Aven’s proposal from Bachelor in Paradise, deciding to leave their issues behind and give the relationship a try.
Even though it meant her wedding dress remained untouched, Kylee felt she had to do what seemed right. “Love is about taking risks,” she said.
Two days after their season finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on Instagram Stories that they had broken up due to multiple instances of infidelity. Aven later apologized for his mistakes and the pain he caused Kylee.
In a delightful exchange, Charity Lawson playfully shared her satisfaction with the current season, hinting at something grander yet to come – her upcoming wedding. Dotun Olubeko, an expert in integrative medicine, got down on one knee and declared their love as “perfect,” proposing to Charity, a child and family therapist, by asking if she would make their fairy tale a reality. Although the specific date for their wedding remains undecided between 2025 or 2026, Charity has an exciting engagement present – a chance to dance on “Dancing With the Stars.” Overjoyed, Dotun exclaimed to Charity on “The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose,” “You like to cut up, you like to dance and get down. We’ve talked about this – about how amazing this opportunity would be. And I am so thrilled to tell you that you’re going to be on ‘Dancing With the Stars’! Let’s go!
Status: Married (can also be expressed as) Zach will find his happily ever after. Despite a few hiccups during the Fantasy Suite, Zach Shallcross wrapped up season 27 in March 2023 by proposing to travel nurse Kaity Biggar. “I am completely in love with you,” he said. “You are my world. The affection I have for you surpasses anything I could have ever imagined.” In July 2023, the Texas-based couple took another significant step, as Kaity posted on Instagram, “Now officially living together.
They married on May 23, 2025.
Their relationship status: They’ve separated. Despite the promising potential seen between Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio during season seven of BIP, who had a tragic past with the loss of their respective partners before appearing on Nick Viall’s season, they unfortunately parted ways. A year after Danielle moved from Nashville to Ohio to be with Michael, he confirmed their breakup on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast in September 2023. He expressed his sadness over the end of their relationship, stating that it was heartbreaking when things don’t work out, especially when love is present but compatibility is lacking. The loss felt wasn’t just about the person and friendship, but also the future they had once imagined together.
Brandon Jones declared his eternal love for Serene Russell during their engagement on season seven of Paradise. However, their journey together was unfortunately short-lived. Just five months after their engagement aired, they announced their separation in a joint Instagram post dated May 2023. “We have struggled to maintain our relationship privately amidst the public scrutiny,” they explained. “This has been incredibly difficult and painful, as there is much love between us. We are both experiencing deep pain and can only ask for understanding and no hostility.
Status: The relationship between pilot Rachel and general contractor Tino Franco hit a snag during their 2022 season, as he was caught kissing another woman. In an interview on “The Viall Files,” Tino expressed remorse, stating, “I do not defend my actions at all. It was not right, it wasn’t fair to Rachel, and I regret it deeply every day. I am ashamed of what I did and if I could go back and change it a million times over, I would.
The situation: Divorced
Indeed, it was quite an experience. Susie Evans, during the 2022 finale, turned down Bachelor Clayton Echard‘s proposals, only to reconnect with him off-screen…and eventually separate again six months later. However, Susie, a videographer based in L.A., maintains that their separation was necessary. In a November 2022 post for her blog “Susie Was Like”, she stated, “Those close to me could see that my enthusiasm had waned, and I was far from flourishing.” She admitted they shared many happy moments, but deep inside, she was battling and feeling out of sync with the best version of herself.
After dating Justin Glaze, a participant from Bachelor Nation, Susie later confirmed that they had parted ways as well, announcing their split in August of 2024.
Status: The relationship between Michelle, a Minnesota elementary school teacher, and Nayte Olukoya, a Texas-based sales executive who appeared on their reality show together, did not last. After accepting a Neil Lane sparkler from Nayte and a $200,000 check from producers for their future home, they broke up six months after the season finale in December 2021.
Nayte admitted that there were many disagreements and fights during their relationship on the podcast “The Viall Files.” However, he also acknowledged that not having a face-to-face conversation to officially end things was a mistake.
In 2023, Michelle began dating Jack Leius, and they announced their engagement the following year.
Status: Separated
The viewers were fully invested in Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian’s dream of tranquil Sunday mornings. However, the Bachelor in Paradise season seven pairing could only spend a handful of weekends together.

The first same-sex pair from Bachelor Nation became engaged during the sixth season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” but they revealed their separation in October 2019, which happened to be Halloween.
In their shared post on Instagram, they expressed that love and concern for each other have been the cornerstones of their relationship. Their main focus has always been doing what’s best for them as a couple. With a heart heavy with mutual love, they’ve made the difficult decision to step back from their relationship. In essence, they want what is truly beneficial for them in the long term, and at this moment, that means growing separately.
Current Status: Engaged
However, it’s not all doom and gloom. Despite Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer parting ways during the seventh season of The Bachelorette, they found that their feelings for each other were as profound as ever. Initially setting up home in San Diego, the travel nurse (who vied for Tayshia’s affection) and the financial manager (the recipient of Matt James’ first impression rose) have now purchased a property in his hometown of Tulsa.
In July 2023, Abigail took to Instagram to share her excitement, stating, “About to enter our Chip and Joanna Gaines era because your girl bought her very first house!!!” She added, “Excited to start our next chapter and for all the memories we’ll create here!!” As they prepared for their relocation, Noah popped the question at a San Diego beachfront home in August 2023, setting the stage for their upcoming nuptials.
In informal and conversational language:
Status: Tied the knot
Before their grand wedding next September, Serena Pitt (a finalist from Matt James’ season) and Joe Amabile (the Chicago grocery store owner who gained fame after being sent home on Becca Kufrin’s season in 2018), thought it wise to have a trial run. So, they went ahead and got hitched at City Hall, which is close to their New York City residence, around a year after leaving Paradise as an engaged couple.
“We just got married!!!” Serena, who now co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with her husband, wrote in an October 2022 video. “We’re still having a wedding next September, but who wouldn’t want to get married twice?
Kenny Braasch, the boy band manager, expressed his deep affection for Mari Pepin by saying, “Mari, I am absolutely smitten by you,” as he placed a Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger during the finale of Paradise in 2021. “I genuinely can’t imagine my life without you,” he continued. As a result, the Maryland beauty queen, who previously captured Bachelor Matt’s heart, relocated to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago and started planning their future together. Prior to their wedding, which took place in an oceanfront ceremony with 65 guests in Puerto Rico in November 2023, they made their love official by getting matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.
Status: Married
Previously on Bachelor in Paradise season seven (2021), Becca (formerly The Bachelorette) and Thomas Jacobs (a suitor from Katie Thurston’s season) began a relationship, but split during the show. Following production, they rekindled their romance and eventually announced their engagement in May 2022, with Becca taking the initiative to propose. Speaking to TopMob News, she expressed hope that others would feel empowered to break traditional rules. Thomas reciprocated later in October. In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca expressed her feelings on Instagram: “Words can’t express the love and awe we have for this tiny man.”
Just weeks after bringing home baby Benson, the couple had a surprise wedding on October 13, 2023. Despite being fond of her 6-foot-6 partner, Becca couldn’t help but gush about their union.

In the final episode of season 17 of “The Bachelorette” in 2021, Katie became engaged to Blake Moynes. Their love blossomed during their overnight date, which included a paintball adventure, a cowboy soak, and a heart-to-heart under the night sky.
Kneeling down, Blake expressed to Katie, “Your worth extends beyond this world, and I am thrilled to stand by your side and assist you daily from now on.
Three months following the broadcast of their proposal, the couple revealed they were parting ways. In harmonious declarations, they expressed, “We are deeply thankful for the precious moments we experienced together and the incredible journey that unfolded this year. However, after much reflection, we’ve decided that we aren’t suited as lifelong partners. It is the kindest decision for us both to proceed separately.”
Now, she is set to marry comedian Jeff Arcuri.
Current Status: Separated
In the time since Matt, graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell, parted ways during his 2021 season (following a brief separation before reconciling), they have been subject to numerous breakup speculations.
As TopMob News exclusively reported at a July 18 Baskin-Robbins event, Matt opined, “I think everyone needs a break from social media.” He added, “Our lives are so intertwined with our phones that when anyone takes a break from being online 24/7, people think it’s the end of the world.”
Despite this, Matt asserted in May 2022 that marriage was their ultimate goal.
“I believe the strength of our relationship lies in our ability to move at our own pace,” the author of First Impressions: Off Screen Conversations With a Bachelor on Race, Family, and Forgiveness told TopMob News. “And you’ve seen with other couples—they rush things like engagements and they’re no longer together. So, I think we have a winning formula and we’ll get there.”
However, less than three years later, Matt announced their separation via an Instagram post on January 16, 2025. “Father God, give Rachael and me the strength to mend our broken hearts,” he wrote, alongside a nostalgic photo of them from The Bachelor. “Grant us a peace about this decision to end our relationship that surpasses human understanding. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our joy comes from you, Lord.

Following her replacement for Clare Crawley in the 2020 edition of “The Bachelorette,” Tayshia came to know and developed feelings for Zac Clark. Despite exiting their season as an engaged couple, Tayshia, who was previously a lead on The Bachelorette, later disclosed that their relationship experienced some highs and lows.
Being in a new relationship and then leaving for a couple of weeks can be challenging, right? And I’m being completely sincere when I say this,” she expressed on the The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 2021.
After that incident, it seemed necessary for us to recall the reasons we were together in the first place. This is completely typical. However, it was reported by TopMob News in November 2021 that they had decided to part ways.
Status: Split
During season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” Clare became deeply smitten with Dale Moss. So much so that they got engaged by the fourth episode! However, more surprises were in store as, shortly after Tayshia took over the show, Dale announced on social media that his relationship with the hairdresser had ended, despite their initial engagement.
Approximately a month later, whispers of reconciliation circulated as they were seen together again. Jumping ahead to July 2021, following multiple reunions, Clare and Dale were solidly back together, complete with a ring. However, in September of the same year, they decided to part ways once more. Now, Clare is happily married to Ryan Dawkins, and they are expecting their first child together.

Following a short-lived engagement with Hannah Ann Sluss and later separation from Madison Prewett, fans had high hopes that things would work out for Peter in his third attempt at love. Unfortunately, the relationship between him and Kelley Flanagan, who gained prominence during The Bachelor season 24, didn’t last, as the pilot announced on New Year’s Eve 2020 that their nine-month romance had ended.
Pete shared on Instagram that although our relationship held many cherished moments, it ultimately didn’t succeed in the long run. However, Kelley remains someone I hold a deep affection for.
In 2022, they made another attempt at flying again, but later in May of the same year, they disclosed that their relationship had come to an end.
Status: Split
After the intense 2020 finale, the pair shared on Instagram that they chose not to continue their relationship. In Peter’s own words, “Madi and I have mutually decided not to move forward with our romance any longer.” Despite the difficulty for both of them, after many open discussions, they concluded that this was the best course for the two individuals involved. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will persist.
In her statement, Madi expressed, “I’ll forever cherish and honor him. I firmly believe that our lives were destined to intersect, making us both the better for it.
Status: Split
During season 24 of ‘The Bachelor’, Peter and Hannah Ann were engaged for a short while. Regrettably, just two parts into the finale, it came to light that they faced difficulties a month into their private relationship. More specifically, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she learned about Peter’s ongoing feelings for Madison, which had not yet fully resolved.
In expressing my sentiments, I merely yearned for someone to commit their entire spirit to our relationship, as I was doing mine. However, it seems you took away the symbol of my first promise – the engagement ring. This action of yours left me bereft because I had placed my trust in you, a belief you’ve consistently asked me to nurture. ‘Have patience with me,’ you’d say, ‘Faith in me, too.’
