WB Games Montreal’s Cancelled Batman Game Concept Art Surfaces, Showcasing Damian and Killer Croc

Before diving into Gotham Knights, I’d previously worked on a few other projects at Warner Bros. Games Montreal that unfortunately didn’t make it past the development stage. One was a Suicide Squad game and another was a sequel to Arkham Knight in a Batman Beyond-like setting, featuring Damian Wayne as Batman.

As a gaming enthusiast, I stumbled upon some fascinating concept art that was initially leaked last year by Goran Bukvic, who mentioned it was for a game that never saw the light of day. More recently, this art has resurfaced on ArtStation, thanks to Batman Arkham Videos. This collection, crafted by Rodrigue Pralier from Free Range Games, represents early explorations for a 2015 project that ultimately got cancelled. The pieces feature an aged Bruce Wayne, Killer Croc, and Huntress, offering a glimpse into what could have been.

It seems that the central character, who appears to be Damian, is sporting his iconic cowl. Rumors suggest that this new Batman comic might introduce characters like Black Mask’s daughter, a resurrected Poison Ivy, and Two-Face as The Judge, his strict enforcer persona.

Personally, I’m thrilled about the rumors surrounding potential projects from WB Games. It seems they proposed a game inspired by “Game of Thrones,” but as of now, there’s no confirmation if it has been approved. Prior to that, my excitement was building for Monolith Productions’ “Wonder Woman” project. Unfortunately, the studio had to close down before we could see this project come to life.
